Personal Statement
Ever since a young age, I was drawn and immersed into the medical field.Having my mom as an RN working with Breast cancer patients and my aunt as a family nurse practitioner, my family has always encouraged me to pursue medicine. Getting accepted into my high school’s medical magnet program was the first step towards that dream. Being in the program, I was able to take health-related classes and shadow different careers, which really opened my eyes to a whole new world. Ever since then, pursuing medicine has been the only goal in my mind and I can’t imagine doing anything else. As a senior in Pre-med Biology, my goal is to go to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medical school and pursue a career in neonatology.
